Meet Molly Drimmel
She and her husband David raise corn, soybeans, wheat, alfalfa, sorghum, chicken, beef cattle, pigs and goats on their farm near Wakarusa, KS. They cherish the opportunity to raise their children on the farm, as Molly grew up on a farm and David was raised on a small dairy farm.
Molly has a busy full-time job off the farm as a field testing agronomist. Her career has taken her across the state from researching corn in Garden City, KS, where she met David, to helping open a new soybean testing facility in Paola, KS.
When they moved home from Garden City, David joined Molly’s father and brother full-time on the the farm, where has has helped advance technology in the farm’s daily operations. David and Molly have invested in growing the family farm by purchasing land, renting more acreage and adding livestock.
Molly is passionate about helping families understand where food comes from. She often posts on her Facebook and enjoys sharing what’s happening on their family farm. She also enjoys spending her free time baking, cooking and hunting.
Molly joined the CommonGround™ Kansas team in 2017 and is excited to help answer questions about how family farms grow crops and raise livestock
